Christmas Outreach Project .
This year, we are participating in the Adopt-an-Angel program sponsored by the Salvation Army (similar to the Angel Tree we did a couple of years ago). The Salvation Army will provide us with Angel cards which will include the name of a child and the items the child is in need of, such as shoes, pants, etc., along with sizes. The items purchased will be dropped off at New Life, taken to Salvation Army, and then distributed to the child. This procedure ensures confidentiality and helps make sure all their Angels have gifts. The Salvation Army has several sign up dates scheduled for families in need. After the sign up dates, they will then provide us with the Angel cards for distribution. Look for Angel cards in the next couple of weeks.
