Our
Archbishop:
The Most Rev. Emmanuel Mbona Kolini is Archbishop of the Province of
the Anglican Church of Rwanda and Bishop of Kigali. He was born in 1945
in Congo, ordained in 1969 and consecrated Assistant Bishop of Bukavu,
Zaire in 1980. He served as Bishop of Katanga, Zaire from 1986 until
1997 at which time he was called into Rwanda as Bishop and Archbishop.
His education was at Canon Warner Memorial College, Bishop Tucker
College and Balya Bible College in Uganda. He and his wife, Freda, have
eight children. Having become Primate of the Province following the
years of genocide, Archbishop Kolini has been a major force for
reconciliation in Rwanda. |

The Rt. Rev. Charles Hurt (Chuck) Murphy III is a Missionary Bishop
of the Province of the Episcopal Church of Rwanda
and chairman of the Anglican Mission in America. He
has served as rector of All Saints Church, Pawleys Island, SC for more
than 20 years. In the late 1990s, Chuck convened and chaired the First
Promise Movement that led to the formation of AMiA. He
graduated from the University of Alabama, studied under Dr. J. I.
Packer of Trinity College in England, and then completed his theological
training at the University of the South. He and his wife Margaret have been
married for 32 years and they have three grown daughters.

Our Bishop:
The Rt. Rev. Alexander Maury (Sandy) Greene
is Rector of the Anglican Church of the Spirit in Littleton Colorado,
after serving five years as Rector of Christ Episcopal Church. Before
coming to Denver he was rector of St. Andrew’s-by-the-Sea, Destin,
Florida. Sandy’s passion in the ministry has been the raising up and
mentoring of clergy and lay leaders. He is a graduate of Yale University
and the General Theological Seminary. Moreover, he has experienced a
lifetime of training in ministry and congregational leadership from a
number of clergy and many gifted lay folk in parishes that he has
served. Bishop Greene is also working with emerging Hispanic ministries
within the Anglican Mission in the United States and Puerto Rico. He and
his wife Georgeanna or “Gigi,” are celebrating over thirty-five years of
marriage. They have four sons, three daughters-in-law and a grandson. |

Our
Priest/Senior Pastor: The
Rev. David B. Linka
was ordained by Chuck Murphy to the deaconate in April of 2003; and to
the priesthood in April of 2005. Prior to coming to Petoskey in July of
2005, Dave served in Pawleys Island, SC, on the staffs of the Anglican
Mission in America and All Saints Church, serving under bishops Murphy
and Barnum. He has a passion for preaching the Gospel, raising up new
ministries and leaders, and reaching those who do not know Jesus as
Lord. Dave graduated from Columbia Biblical Seminary & School of
Missions in Columbia, SC. Additionally, Dave has 15 years' marketing and
sales experience, along with graduate and undergraduate degrees from the
University of Richmond and the College of William & Mary, respectively.
Dave and his wife Katie have been married for 18 years and they have two
daughters.

Our
Senior
Warden: Wally Stansbury
spent
20 years in the US Air Force. Flew large transport aircraft (C-141)
virtually all over the world, medical evacuation aircraft (C-9A)
throughout the European theater, and short takeoff and landing aircraft
(C-7A) re-supplying Special Forces in the mountains of Viet Nam. He
spent the last 10 years in the Air Force in Command and Control
facilities with the final assignment in the Pentagon, Washington D.C.
Retired to Florida in 1991 and there began a journey of faith which
eventually led to northern Michigan. He served on a vestry, attended Cursillo, taught Sunday school classes, and served as a Lay Eucharistic
minister. Wally has made two trips to Israel and missionary trips to
Honduras, Central America and Rwanda, Africa. He has a B.S. degree from
the University of Georgia, and an MBA from the University of Utah. He has been married 40
years to his wonderful wife Betty. They were only loaned one child who is now
with Jesus. |

Our
Administrative Assistant: Tracey Jepsen
is a lifetime native of the Petoskey
area. She and husband of 23 years (David) have
three young adult children;
Leann, Rachel and Tyler. Tracey was a stay-at-home mom until Dec.'99 when she
returned to work force first as a drivers helper/pre-loader
for UPS, then
as a part-time Pastoral Assistant at Agape Baptist Church and college
student. In May of 2006, Tracey graduated
from North Central Michigan College with an A.A.S. in Marketing. She is happy to be
using her education and experience to further the Lord's work here at
New Life.
